In November, 2014, Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China and Hon Tony Abbott, the former Prime Minister of Australia witnessed the signatory ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing the Chinese Medicine Center in Australia by BUCM and Western Sydney University (WSU). The Chinese medicine collaboration between the two Universities has been strong for more than a decade，creating a unique borderless platform for academic research, education, clinical treatment and cultural exchange.
